What is a tax code?

29 views 0

There are differing levels of value added tax (VAT) to be added to different types of products and services, currently UK rates are 0%, 5% and 20%, whilst international transactions also vary. The tax codes within the DNA system should be created in line with those in your accounts package to ensure accurate integration (e.g. usually tax code T0 is used in SAGE for zero rated transactions, T1 for standard rate etc).
