How does the docket numbering work?

24 views 0

The system has three different settings for Docketing;

Type 1 allows docketing of each sales order item where the user can enter any line number and docket number,

Type 2 allows docketing of each sales order item where the line numbers are sequential and one docket number is used per sales order ie each line item has the same docket number

Type 3 is the same as Type 2 but also allows the incoming part number to be captured at the docketing stage.

The setting is usually chosen when the system is originally set up
