Quote Tab
Quote tab collates all production information in one easy to view screen. It can be split into sections making it easy to navigate, blue shaded and white areas
Blue shaded area
Quote No – quote number, automatically populated from number stack
Group No – group quote number when using multiple or same group options, this number can be manually adjusted to group quotations that were not linked previously.
Prepared – select date quote was prepared, this is automatically populated but can be adjusted accordingly.
Status – status of the quote (see Status Definitions for full descriptions)
Follow Up – date the quote needs to be followed up if not at a status of accepted
Delivery – date of delivery if known at time of quotation creation, this can be left blank
Customer – use the search button to retrieve customer from database
Location – use the search button to retrieve delivery address from database
Contact – contact for this customer; email correspondence will be sent to this contact if email address is present. Use the search button to change the contact detail.
Cust Enq – customer order number
Pricing Unit – free type to indicate how the quote line is being priced e.g. each, per 10.
Print Qty/Price breaks? – if price breaks have been applied to the part tick this box to display on quotation document. Please note: quotation document will require adjusting.
White area
Part No/Issue – part number detail from part database
Drawing/Issue – drawing number detail applied to part record
Description – description is automatically populated from part database detail
Order Qty – quantity ordered by customer
Plan Qty – quantity planned to manufacture
Assy Level – if this quotation is an assembly this box indicates the level within the assembly
Current Stock – indicates whether this part is in stock, part must have an issue number to activate
Quarantine – indicates whether this part is in quarantine, part must have an issue number to activate
Assy Top Level – tick box to indicate this is the assembly top level
Long Description – enter additional information relating to the manufactured part
Method – used to identify method processes, also used as a search function
Lead Time – free type field to include the lead time on quotation
Schedule Date – enter a schedule date
