The notes tab has two sections, private and public, where additional information relating to the manufacture of the part can be recorded.  When notes are added to a quotation a warning triangle will display

Private Notes

The Private Notes field will not display the text on quotations or any correspondence with the customer.

Use the Notes button to open the Rich Text box where customisation of the text including changing font, colour, size, emphasise, inserting bullet points etc can be added.

Public Notes

The Public Notes field will display the text on the quotation underneath the applicable line on the printed document.
