Once you have chosen a report type, you can then drag and drop the fields from ‘Fields’ into the X and Y axis.

For example, I want to have a bar chart that shows Opportunities by Owner.

Y axis: Opportunity ID

X axis: Owner

Once the chart is set up, there will be a live preview in which you will be able to check any changes made to your chart.

In the X axis you can edit:

• Title: You can change the title of the field.
• Sort: Sort by ascending, descending or none
• Value: Sum, Count, Average, Max, Min and Percentage

In the Y axis you can edit:

• Title: Title of the field
• Interval: This will only appear for date fields. You can choose to show the data in Days, Weeks, Months or Years.
• Sort: Sort by ascending, descending or none
• Columns: This is how many columns your chart will have, from 4 to 364.

To further analyse the data, you could add a field in to the X2 axis.

For example, I have pulled the ‘Pipeline Stage’ field into the X2 axis. Now my bar chart is stacked and tells me the pipeline stage of each opportunity by owner.
