Before you begin to create an asset, you will first need to create custom fields.

When creating a new asset, there are 6 custom fields where you can customise the dropdown menus.

These are:

• Manufacturer
• Current Location – *Mandatory Field
• Storage Location – *Mandatory Field
• Sub Location
• Type, eg ‘Micrometer’.
• Calibration Status– *Mandatory Field

To add custom fields, go to Settings and then choose ‘Custom Fields’.
