How to update Crystal Reports if there are database changes

If the tables behind a crystal report have been updated, the database can be verified to display all the correct fields.

Open the crystal report you wish to update, and click on Database=>Verify Database

If any changes to the database tables are detected, you will receive a message for each amended table:

You will get confirmation that the report has been updated:

When you view the available fields in your report, they will include all those from the updated data source.
