Creating a Multiple Quotation (with different part numbers)

 

Create a single quotation

 

Tick the Same Group box to indicate the quotation is to group multiple items against the same Group number.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Use the + button to add further parts to the same group reference; the new quotes will retain all the customer information and reference numbers.  Insert the relevant detail for each part i.e. Works Centres, Materials, Parts and Subcon.  When this quotation is closed, the system will assume no further quotations are required and will remove the tick from Same Group.

 

Set Markup % levels

 

Default percentage markups can be applied to all quotations, this level is set in the system parameters within Tools – Setup.

 

Markup % is displayed within the accumulated costs section right of the quotation window, if the percentage is less than the set default the field will appear red.

 

 

Use the slider to switch between Margin% and Markup%

If the quotation is prepared for printing and the margin percentage has not been adjusted the following popup will appear.

 

 

Cost Displays

 

Within the quotation costs it is possible to slide between the levels of cost accumulation.  This will only work when creating an assembly quotation.

 

Costs (this level) will display only the costs for the one level
Costs (all levels) will display an accumulation of all levels

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Select the Actions button or right click to print the quotes, select the middle option to include all with the Group Reference.

 

Highlight quotes required for printing, for individual selection highlight the first quote then using the combination of CTRL and mouse, select additional quotes.  If all quotes are to be selected use the Select All button, for all instances select the OK button to continue.

 

 

A preview of the printable document will appear, selecting the print icon will print the document,

 

 

 

 

 

 

Selecting OK will prompt to email the quotation and convert to Issued.
