Quotation Template

Creating a template for regularly used quotations can speed up the quotation process.

Create a new quotation, ensure the quantity is set to 1.  If the quote is unique to a customer requirement insert the name of the company into the New Quote window, otherwise it may be worth creating an internal company to reference all templates against.  Do not include any unique referencing in the template i.e. delivery dates, lead times and order numbers.  To identify this as a template tick the template box, then OK to save the record.

Using a Quotation Template

To retrieve the template, use the + at the top of the quotation window.  Enter customer, then use the looking glass against the part number to display any related templates.

If multiple templates are available for the part these can be viewed using the double chevron, double click the one to use.  Continue entering all the quotation information, select OK.
